Event 1 - Dawnclan IntroductionHello and welcome to the grand beginning of Dawnclan's story. As you are already aware, our clan's history is based on the original Skyclan mentioned in Erin Hunter's "Warrior" books. In our guild Skyclan has split into three clans, Moonclan, Snowclan and Fireclan. As Cursedstar had mentioned in her own story of Pebbleclan's birth, there are two clans that need to be formed in order for the clans to find balance.

Thus, this is where Cindermoon's story begins!

The story to unfold is rather . . . long, so we have decided to split the events up into 8 parts!

FireClan Assignment: Attack in the CampA hiss filled the air as a loud thump echoed through the parched ground, an equally loud swear accompanying the thump, the apprentice's voice carrying louder than Kindlestar had ever heard it. The FireClan leader's whiskers twitched with restrained amusement, not wanting her apprentice, Heatherpaw, to feel as though if she was being made fun of. Helping the apprentice get up, a somewhat harder feat for her than for most warriors as Heatherpaw was already her size, she remained quiet for a few moments, letting the look of embarrassment pass the younger one's face.

"I'll never get this strike right, Kindlestar!" Heatherpaw finally complained

The Warriors Guild : I've Never Seen a Prettier She-cat

Mintstreak leapt from cat to cat, delivering the herbs that Three-eye had requested for each cat, cat's injuries. He was packing cobwebs onto the gash in Nilemoon's ear when he noticed a cat standing a little ways away. Mintstreak glanced up and realized it was Deerleap cleaning the wound of...
Mintstreak's heart lurched when he realized that Deerleap's tail was almost completely gone.
"Excuse me," he meowed to Nilemoon before leaping towards Deerleap.
"Deerleap! Thank goodness you're okay!" the white tom licked the top of Deerleap's head. "I didn't remember seeing you come back with the attack party, so I didn't know what had happened to you!"
Deerleap turned away from Mintstreak, her eyes filled with distress and sadness.
"What's wrong?" Mintstreak asked.
"I'm not pretty anymore," Deerleap mumbled inaudibly.
"What are you talking about?"
"Are you blind?! The mother wolf bit my tail off! I tried to get away but I knew it was too late and now my tail is gone!" Deerleap turned away from Mintstreak, her ears flattened.
Mintstreak was silent for a moment before padding next to Deerleap.
"Hey, you know what? I've never seen a prettier she-cat in my life. And I think I like your name even better now than I did before. It fits your name better. Have you ever seen a deer with a long tail?"
The corner of Deerleap's mouth twitched. "No..."
"See? I think it suits you even better than your old tail. I love it," Mintstreak pressed his head against Deerleap's cheek.
Deerleap smiled.
"Thank you Mintstreak," she purred.
"You're welcome," he purred back.
