     Fastfin opened his eyes. He glanced up at the sky to see the moon straight over head. For several nights he had been unable to sleep.
Perhaps it was having his siblings so close to him again.
     Carefully, he sat up and looked at his siblings sleeping next to him. Even Badgergaze, who had decided to join them in the Warriors den for a few nights.
It was strange - nice, but still strange - to have all of his siblings with him again. It had been moons since they had slept together.
     The cream tom noted with some regret that it was probably partially his fault, however it was nice to be able to call Burntfeet his brother again.

     He watched his siblings sleeping, their breaths even, almost in sync with each other, their flanks slowly rising and falling.

     It suddenly hit him that this group of cats was his closest friends.

     He'd never thought very much of them, but after the battle, watching how easily the rogues had taken the lives of his Clanmates, he had found a new love for the cats he called his family.

     He thought back to the fight, watching Mintstreak and his brothers attack the rogue leader, the surge of adrenaline as he dodged rogue attacks, the feeling of accomplishment when the rogues had fled...
     Well, most of the rogues. The few that Quickwind had allowed to stay slept at the foot of the Overlook for now. All Fastfin could hope is that it wasn't another secret plan to attack PebbleClan again. 

     He returned his attention to his siblings. 
     'Burntfeet... Emberlight.... Badgergaze....' It was still strange to think that they were Warriors, Apprentice training seemed to have flown by. Thankfully it had still given Fastfin some time to mature.
     'I swear on my name as a Warrior, that I'll protect my Clan and my family with my life.'

He smirked, realizing how much he sounded like his father.

I guess I'm more like them then I thought.
